O blog surgiu em 2008, quando comecei a estagiar no Instituto Nokia de Tecnologia em Manaus. Percebi que estava com dificuldade de comunicar minhas idéias através de sketches. Sempre gostei de desenhar, o que se tornou um rótulo na família e no colégio. Mas nunca fui de desenhar de forma ininterrupta, motivo pelo qual minha habilidade com os rabiscos permaneceram brutas. Não satisfeito resolvi pesquisar na internet sobre técnicas e alguns artistas que me inspirassem.

Não sei como, mas achei o site ID Sketching, criado por Spencer Nugent. Entre muitas dicas constatei que a prática continua era a mais importante. Assim criei o blog "One Sketch a Day Projetc". O intuito era realizar o máximo de skecthes possíveis e resgistrá-los, assim eu poderia notar a minha melhora ao longo do tempo. De lá pra cá acredito ter melhorado consideravelmente. Percebi que era hora de passar à frente tudo que tenho aprendido e mudei o nome e o foco do blog. Hoje o blog Grafite&INK tem como objetivo falar sobre ilustração seja ela qual for, mas confesso que tenho preferência por sketches de produtos e concept arts.

No momento o blog passa por mudança e recebe membros capazes de tratar de outros assuntos sobre ilustração além do desenhos de produtos.

The blog came in 2008 when I started an internship at Nokia Institute of Technologyin Manaus city. I realized I was having difficulty communicating my ideas through sketches. I always liked to draw, what has become a label in my family and at school. But I was never to draw continuously, which is why my ability with the remaining crude scribbles. Not satisfied I decided to search at Internet about techniques and some artists who inspire me.I do not know how, but I found the site ID Sketching, created by Spencer Nugent. Among the many tips found that the practice was still the most important. So I created the blog "One a Day projetc Sketch." The aim was to achieve the maximum possible and Sketch resgisters them, so I could see my improvement over time.Since then I believe I have improved considerably. I realized it was time to share what I have learned, so I changed the name and focus of the blog. Today the blog Grafite&Ink aims any kind of illustration, but I confess that I prefer sketches and concept art products.

Currently the blog is going through change. Grafite&INK receives members to talk about beyond the illustration of product designs.
